Betty J. Schroeder passed away on March 30, 2012, in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Rockford, Illinois, to Jess and Myrtle (nee Westcott) Stockton, Betty arrived on August 23, 1929. Betty was a loving mother. She and the love of her life, Reuben, adopted 2 children that they raised and loved more than anyone could ever love them. Bingo was a passion for Betty. She always enjoyed her visits from her bingo buddies. She is survived by her daughter Paula Schroeder, son Randall Schroeder, and brother Stanley Stockton. A celebration of life honoring Betty will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church 612 South Ellsworth Road on April 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 South Power Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480)830-4422.
