Bonnie Lakey Martin

Bonnie met and married the love of her life Kay W. Bowen on December 13, 1947, in Evanston, Wyoming. Through that union they were blessed with 2 children. After the death of husband of Kay, she married Harvey “Red’ Martin on January 21, 2005.

She loved camping and fishing and after they retired where she found her love of oil painting.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Kay and Red, brother Romaine Lakey and son-in-law Gerry Rosas.

She is survived by her son Dallas (Wendy) Bowen of Apache Junction, AZ, her daughter Susan Bowen Rosas of Apache Junction, AZ and sister Eva Phillips of Grantsville, UT.

Also, Bonnie is survived by her Grandchildren Scott (Amy) Rosas of MD, Jeff (Gina) Rosas of Pembroke, MA, Don (Veronica) Rosas of Redondo Beach, CA, Candace (Kelvin) Kelson of Fernley, NV and Chris (Evelynn) Bowen of Green River, WY, 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Joe See and the caregivers at Altercare in Mesa, AZ for the many years of love and care for Bonnie.

A Celebration of Life will be in Grace, ID in August.
