Caleb Lawrence Hull, father, son, brother and all around Awesome Dude, passed away suddenly on February 5, 2024 in Scottsdale, AZ. The hole that his love, personality, and laughter leave behind is immeasurable and will be felt by so many but Caleb would tell us to “quit being a pussy”. Although he was known for his quick wit, which could often be crass, he will be always remembered for his huge heart and passion for life.
He was born a little ball of light and was always found just beaming with love and excitement for life. He was always the kid to make people laugh and the joy he got from it never faded with age. From a young age and with all the encouragement from his loving Mother Carrie, Caleb learned to charm his way into anyone’s heart and out of any trouble. Carrie also nurtured his inner poet and philosopher and he grew to love exploration and expansion of himself through reading and could express himself with skill in the written word through poetry, storytelling, and song.
As a kid, his father Jeff seeded an appetite for nature that grew throughout his whole life. The two were hiking, camping, and most importantly fishing as often as they could with frequent trips to the mountains or a local fishing hole. Caleb was also an avid golfer and could be found most of the summer with his father and friends enjoying the sun and “hittin’ some balls”.
His greatest joy and strongest focus in life was his role as a father to his daughter Jaidyn. He worked every day to grow and better himself for her who he felt deserved the world, moon, and stars. She is his proudest accomplishment.
Caleb attended Coronado High School where he made many lifelong friends. He lived every day of his teens fully and gave to those in his life wholly and his surviving network of friends who call him brother is a testament to that.
After high school, Caleb began a career with Cooling Tower Products where he truly showed his strength and dedication. He was a hardworking, respectable, trustworthy employee. So much so that he found a second family in the owners, Chad and Leanne Barrett and their daughter Cassie. The Barretts mentored Caleb and helped him throughout his journey in becoming a man and a father and nurtured his amazing light and tenacity for life. He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Carrie Hull, two older sisters Chelsey and Courtney, daughter Jaidyn, hound dog Maple, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
A visitation for Caleb will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Road, Mesa, Arizona 85202.
