

Dr. Chad M. Coulliette died on September 15, 2011 at his home in Mesa, Arizona. Chad was born on February 20, 1970, in Phoenix, Arizona to Roy M. Coulliette and Darlene Marie Golka Coulliette and spent his childhood in the Phoenix and Mesa area he graduated from Westwood High School and then earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Northern Arizona University. Chad then moved to San Diego where he received an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at San Diego State University and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. He also completed his Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics and Engineering Science at the University of California, San Diego. He worked as a teaching assistant during his years of study and then was employed as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the California Institute of Technology until 2004. Chad’s field of study was Control and Dynamical Systems. He travelled extensively during his years at the California Institute of Technology, presenting seminars in his field at educational institutions in the U.S. and abroad. Chad had recently developed a company, Dynamical Systems Analysis and Prediction, L.L.C., of which he was President and lead scientist. Chad was married on April 26, 2010, to Shee Blut (Siblut) from Tak, Thailand.
Chad loved learning and never tired of teaching and encouraging others. He had a strong faith and in the many challenges he faced often reminded us all that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Chad was preceded by his mother, Darlene and his brother Keith. Chad is survived by his wife Siblut, his brother Matthew and his father Roy.
