

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Cindy Sue Pryor, a beloved wife, mother and
grandma.
She was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2023. She flew home and saw the face of
Jesus on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Mesa, AZ.
Cindy was born to Wilbert and Mercedene Grovom on June 22, 1955, in Roundup, Montana. She
was the youngest of four children, sister to Doug, Sheryl and Marsha.
After graduating from Lapwai High School in Lenore, ID she met the love of her life, Gene Pryor.
Together they had three children, Tracy, Stacy and Jason. As a military family, they moved around a
bit in the early years and landed in Klamath Falls, OR where they remained while raising their children.
Cindy was a stay-at-home mom, who lovingly cared for her children, cooked the best meals and
always put other’s needs before her own.
She was very talented, crafty and her floral arraignments were her masterpieces. She enjoyed
having a booth at the Shepard’s Market and local bazaars.
She had a tremendous caring and compassionate heart that touched so many over the years.
Her love of family, friends and the joy of laughter will be cherished for a lifetime.
Her faith remained unwavering, and she knew where she was going.
She leaves behind her husband of almost 51 years, Gene, daughters Tracy Steiner, Stacy Howard
and her favorite son-n-law Tommy, son Jason Pryor and her favorite daughter-n-law Briget.
Her most precious gifts, her grandchildren, Zoey and Devyn Ayala, Sydnee Howard (Caden), Skyler
Howard (Kyli), Jordan Pryor (Justin) and Talan Pryor (Sofia).
She is proceeded in death by her parents, in laws Alfred and Marlene Pryor and sister Sheryl Hunt.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Occasions Venue located at 4039 S.
6th St. from 3-6pm.
