

Clifford DeeLee Smith, formerly of Tooele, died March 21, 2014 in Mesa, Az. Cliff was born October 1, 1927 in Helper, Utah to Charles and Millie Luella Smith. He was the 14th of 7 boys and 7 girls. He retired from Tooele Army Depot in 1982 and also retired with the rank of First Sergeant from the Utah National Guard Combat Engineers with 33 years of service. He was active in the Fish and Game and the Wildlife Federation where he served a term as president. He and his wife Lee enjoyed their retirement at their home in Browns Park Utah and traveling the country with friends. They enjoyed winters in Puerto Penasco Mexico and recently made their home in Mesa, AZ. Cliff enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, his shop, ranch work, and dancing with his wife. Cliff is survived by his wife Lee, 5 children, 2 stepchildren, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3.5 great great grandchildren. Cliff and Lee were also fortunate to have many siblings, relatives and friends that brought much happiness to their lives. At his wishes, Cliff will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered this summer at their property in Browns Park during a celebration of his life.
