Denise was born on February 28, 1972, in Mansfield, Ohio. She carried a deep and proud love for her hometown throughout her life, along with a deep and unwavering faith in God that guided her, gave her strength, and shaped the way she loved others.
She will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Maggie, Ross, and Daniel; the father of her children, Ross Brotman; and her loving life partner, John Bowers. Denise’s family was the center of her world. She was a devoted and proud mother who loved deeply, supported endlessly, and gave everything she had to the people she loved.
Denise was known for her quick wit, compassionate spirit, and natural charisma. She had an incredible way of making people feel seen, heard, and understood, always offering comfort, encouragement, or honest wisdom when it was needed most. She truly loved people, and that love was felt by everyone who knew her.
Her faith was at the heart of who she was, reflected in the kindness, grace, and compassion she showed every single day.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church in Gilbert, Arizona, on Saturday April 18th at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at the Ortega Residence.
Denise’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
