Donald Ward Knight, born January 14, 1923 in Detroit MI, to Lester and Eva Knight, passed away on January 8, 2013 at the age of 89 in Yuma, AZ. He was married to Lois Aleen Springer on December 15, 1945 in St. Clair Shores, MI., worked as a supervisor for General Motors, attended the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mesa and enjoyed playing golf in his younger years with the General Motors Golf League. Donald served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service in the Pacific during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents,his beloved wife of 67 years, Lois and his sister Barbara Maher. He is survived by; sons Donald W. Knight II and Greg K. (Sherry) Knight; grandchildren Danielle, Kevin and Gabriel Knight, one great granddaughter Harper Leighann Groff as well as his brother David Knight.
