Dorothy- I will always have you in my heart.  I enjoyed every minute I worked with you at Moore From the Heart.  You and Tim always made us feel like family.  We love you both and Dorothy, you will be missed dearly.  Laura and Chris Langemo

I first met Dorothy when I made a visit to Arizona for an extended retreat. Tim had made a great effort to contact me, one of his long-lost cousins from Ontario.  Dorothy and Tim invited me to spend a day with them and they picked me up at the Benedictine Retreat Centre.  When that truck rounded the corner where I waited for them, I knew without doubt I had met one of the most beautiful women I'd ever been privileged to meet....even before the truck stopped. She radiated love and warmth and a passion for life...it was all in her smile and her eyes.  (Sorry Tim, but I actually noticed you afterwards).

And so began a most beautiful connection that grew and grew through the following week.  There was only a year's difference in our ages...but you could never have known that when you were caught up in Dorothy's unbelievable energy.  She loved every moment of her life and seemed so joyful as she anticipated the next moment...the next adventure.  I was astounded when she agreed without hesitation to ride a donkey down into the Grand Canyon with me on my next visit!  Dorothy was fearless!

My 'sister' was exquisite and loving, intelligent and well-educated.  She was vivacious, loved to laugh, loved to smile.  Dorothy loved to talk about her family, starting with the husband she adored, the children who were her delight, and Jade, a special gift to her grandmother.

Dorothy,  I love and cherish you and selfishly, grieve my own loss.  I feel such sadness for the pain of your leaving and the effect that has, and will continue to have on your family and those who loved you so dearly.  At the same time I celebrate you....your life, the beauty you shared with me, the love you gave me.  I thank you for the gift of having you in my life, even for a short time...because, short time or no, my life has been different because of you.  I will celebrate you forever!

Tim, Christine and Jade,
I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Dorothy was a wonderful women and she loved her family first and foremost so much.  I knew her only a short time that she worked for me at Moore from the Heart.  She was such a special person, and I will miss her.  God Bless you all during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to you. Dorothy was such a special person and such a joy to be around.  She lit up any room she entered and had such great energy. I always enjoyed seeing her at Jazzercise and it was such a pleasure when your 3 generations all took class together. Donn and Christine, I know this is a very difficult time in your life.  Mothers are very special.  To keep her spirit alive, keep all your great memories of her close to your heart.  As time passes, so will your deep sadness.  Until you get to a quieter place, I will continue to keep you in my prayers.  I am very sorry for your loss, but the wonderful memories she left behind will live forever.

I will never forget the fun times we had in high school - everything revolved around band:  camp, majorettes, practices, concerts, parades.  When I think back to those times, I smile because of your mother.

I'll always remember the 11 days I stayed with her in Scottsdale in 1993.  We had the best time and it was then that I got to meet the two of you.

Someone so special can never be forgotten!  Only time moves on to the next scene; memories remain part of the heart forever.  Take comfort in knowing there is one more angel above all of us.  The light your mother brought to the world is still shining - in you and in everyone touched by her love.  When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

I will always treasure the memories your mother and I created together.

In remembering Dorothy she was a wonderful friend, beautiful person, loyal and kind. She was a very loving person. She loved her family and was a great friend. She will be missed.

I was certainly sad to hear the news of my friend Dorothy's passing.  Dorothy and I worked for Bank One for many years together. We would travel the state of AZ on behalf of the bank and shared many laughs, story's about her children and grandchildren.  I learned alot from Dorothy and will never forget the infectious smile she brought into a room nor the caring heart she offered. I am proud to call her a friend and will always keep her in my heart and memories.

Dorothy was the nicest most caring person.......a real joy to be around.  We have thought of her often since her illness.  We offer our condolences to her family and know that such a wonderful woman will be greatly missed.

Whenever I think of Dorothy, I see her smile and radiant goodness.  She always made me smile.  I have always admired Dorothy's strength, her enduring good nature and thoughtfulness toward others, her sense of humor, and her ability to find the positive or laugh at the absurd in any situation.

Momma, I thank God for bringing us together.  You are my best friend.  I will miss you dearly.  I will always remember the beautiful memories we share together.  Thank you for always being with me to comfort and encourage me.  I love you so very much!

Dorothy's spirit is bigger than life and I know it will go on in all those whose lives she touched.

Nana, I loved you so much. You were the best Grandma in the whole world. I just can't believe you're gone... It seems like it was yesterday when we would be out making memories and having fun together; like the time we went up to Snowbowl and rode the chairlift to the top. It was so beautiful. Also all the times we rode our bikes out to Cinder Lake and also the trips to Lake Powell.You're greatly missed but you will be in my memory and heart forever. I'll never ever forget you. Rest in paradise.
