Dorothy Lorraine Stec, 86, of Chandler AZ, passed away Oct. 14, 2015. She was born June 20, 1929 in Fall River, MA to Omar and Blanche Desmarais. Dorothy loved reading, crocheting, knitting, cooking and family. Dorothy received the Marian Medal Award from the Catholic Church Diocese of Fall River, MA. She was a wonderful grandma and her grandchildren called her Mim. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milton and daughter, Mary. She is survived by her daughters Joyce (Michael) Beaudoin, Carol (Steve) Merrill and Betty (Bill) D’Auteuil; her son-in-law Steve Cabral as well as 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be October 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Rd in Mesa, AZ followed by a committal service at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd In Phoenix, AZ.
