Our beloved Eddie was a warrior, fighting a battle no one truly understood, carrying a weight that few could bear. Every day was a fight—sometimes you won, sometimes the shadows crept in. But even in the darkest of moments, there was light in you. A spark, a hope, a desire to break free. You loved fiercely, laughed loud, and had a heart that was so big, it could have embraced the world.
We saw the struggle. We saw the pain. We saw the moments where you felt like you couldn’t go on. But we also saw the strength in you—the courage to keep fighting, even when the fight seemed endless. Addiction doesn’t define who you were, but it shaped your story in ways no one could fully understand.
Now, you're at peace. The battle is over, and the chains have been broken. You’re no longer defined by the pain, but by the love you shared, the lessons you taught us, and the memories that will never fade. Though your journey was cut short, your spirit will always remain with us—your fight, your laughter, your heart, your big dimples and a smile that will never be forgotten. RIP Eddie Dean. We love you.

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can,
that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done,
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day,
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay,
And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.
