He leaves behind his 6 children: Judy Harper, Jerry Worthington, Scott (Carolyn) Worthington and Michael Worthington of Arizona and Paula (Jim) Dean and Debbie (Don) Weis of Batavia, NY. He will be sadly missed by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Ed proudly served in the US Navy immediately after high school. Afterwards, he began his career of 44 years at Tyler Truck Lines in Oakfield. In his retirement he volunteered for 10 years at Habitat for Humanity in Batavia. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, playing card games, bingo and watching baseball and football – especially the Bills.
He will be remembered as a kind-hearted soul, loving father and friend to everyone he met.
A graveside service will be at the convenience of the family, and he will be laid to rest in Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in Mesa, AZ.
