Eileen Emma Schiller

Eileen Emma Schiller (nee Smith), of Tempe, Arizona passed away peacefully surrounded by family on her 91st birthday, February 18, 2023. Eileen was the most selfless, caring, tenderhearted, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that one family could ask to have in this life. Her love was endless and touched the lives of everyone who was blessed to know and love her back.

Eileen never forgot a birthday, anniversary, celebration, or life milestone. She kept everything possible written in her calendars that she held onto for many years. She made every birthday special for everyone she loved, and never missed an opportunity to tell those in her life just how much she adored them.

Eileen spent 75 amazing, beautiful years with her husband, Bill, and raised 5 kindhearted, loving, and generous children. Their life together and love for each other was truly that of a love story for the ages. She has gone on to join family who have passed before her, including her two sons who passed far too soon, Ronnie and Bic.

She is survived by her children Patti, Dean (Leanne), Craig (Dale), Lisa (Jim); grandchildren Erika, Savannah, Ryan, Corey, Nick, Emily, Chad, Andrew, Cameron, and Alyssa; and great-grandchildren Winnie and Jackson. She will be deeply loved and profoundly missed by all her family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202.

Followed directly after by a Celebration of Life Mass at 12:00 PM, officiated by Edward Burns (Bishop of the Diocese of Dallas) at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1800 East Libra Drive, Tempe, AZ 85283.

This will be followed by a Reception in the Church Hall.
