"Pat" It is with great sadness that we announce the Passing of Pat Temple - McKinney. Pat was born April 3, 1933 to Mr. Carl Haun and Mrs. Eileen McHale. Pat was also raised by her step-father Mr. James McHale. At 15, Pat met future Air Force Major Mr. John R. Temple 2 years her senior; and after a 5-year engagement they were married September 5, 1953. Pat traveled around the world with her Air Force husband, traveling through the States and parts of Europe. Pat and John raised 5-children together John William, Carl Roland, Cynthia Eileen Blount, Barry Lee and Terence James. Settling in Arizona, they remained happily married until John's death in 1986. Pat kept busy working for various organizations including "The Salvation Army," "Caterpillar Corporation" and lastly & most enjoyably "The Mesa City Court" where she formed and maintained important and lifelong friendships and where she retired from. Much of her time was spent volunteering for charitable groups but she also found time to assist those less fortunate, the aged and the sick. Pat would shop and clean, transport or just watch the "Suns" with those without a friend or family near. She would also volunteer for Family reunions, the National Guard Retirees "Dinosaur Club" and in many other ways, utilizing her love of numbers. Pat was sure she'd never remarry but after 18 years, Pat met the second love of her life. Someone she had known for 40 years, for he lived just three houses down. Pat married Ralph Dwayne McKinney on May 15, 2004. Pat and Dwayne were awfully busy these past 9-years.
