Eloy Fernando Martinez

He was born in Monclova Coahuila, Mexico on April 10, 1927. Fernando graduated from Wayland University and received his seminary degree. He was married to Rosalinda Martinez on July 3, 1974.

Fernando was called to the ministry at the young age of 19. He worked for the North American Mission Board as a church planter and pastor. He had such a passion for his congregation and dedicated his life to serving others and the Lord.

He is survived by his children Ray Martinez and his wife Rosemary Martinez, his daughter Becky Macias and her husband Roy Macias, his son Hector Benitez and his wife Melanie Benitez, his daughter Cecilia Johnson and her husband Christopher Johnson, his daughter Sarah Zaldana and her husband Edwin Zaldana, and his son Fernando Martinez and his wife Erika Martinez. His grandchildren Eric Madril, Naomi Martinez, Catarina Macias, Gad Macias, Leah Herron, Dallas Butrymowicz, Christian Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Seth Johnson, Gabriella Martinez, and Natalia Martinez. His great grandchildren Eric Madril Jr., Eli Madril, Gavin Avalos, Tucker Herron, Sierra Anderson, Mia Butrymowicz. His brother Roy Martinez.

Viewing arrangements will be held at 9am – 12pm, December 4th 2020 at Mariposa Gardens. Funeral services can be seen on Facebook live on December 4th, 2020 at 1pm.
