3 years have passed by since you did, but i keep you with me for eternity 

I think about you often still and miss being able to just have a spontaneous hang out like we used to do. I spoke with Martin for the first time in years and we talked about you, he misses you and sends his condolences to your family. My heart is heavy friend. Miss you Estrella.

I am so saddened by the news of your passing Estrella. I have so many many memories of younger years and seeing you from time to time as we got older was always so joyful, your smile and bold spirit were infectious ! Your entire family is in my prayers, rest in peace beautiful Estrella !!!

Even though we were so far apart, I always kept you in my heart.  We never got to see each other much at all due to the fact that we lived miles away from one another. We used to play a lot together when we were little kids and had good times. One day we moved over a thousand miles away and had to grow up without each other. It would've been awesome to have been able to get to know each other more and to have been able to have our children play together too. Things happen in life that we can't control or even understand but we have to make the best of it and keep on going no matter what and that is what we both had to do. Now you have moved on and all at once, reality kicked in and so many memories flooded my mind all at once from our childhood. I feel so blessed to be able to still remember those times together and I know that nothing can take that away from me. Those memories will always stay with me and I am grateful for that. From what I have heard you turned out to be a very strong, loving, and caring woman. I am so proud of you and everything that you have done here and you will continue to spread your wings where you are now. You have children that have learned so much from you and words that they speak that I have read are so beautiful and touching and I can see you through them. You will always live on through them. You have touched so many lives and still are and with that I thank you. You will be missed my sweet cousin, but you will never be forgotten. I know you are in a beautiful place right now and we will all see you again one day. I love you.....

The shock of this is too much to grasp? Im angry and I dont understand how this could be? The times we've shared, the memories of you I have are very long and will last me a lifetime. You were so passionate about everything, so giving, so kind, so considerate, loving and faithful. You could always understand the "realness" of life and people so much better than I could and you taught me how to connect to that. Your spirit was so honest, compassionate. With you, family and faith was nothing to mess with and I admired you for that. You understood me and made me feel that my purpose in this life meant SOMETHING and you were always so genuine and nurturing. I remember everything about you and your infectious laugh! I love you so much, I'll miss you FOREVER and I'm so sorry friend that I let time get between us. I will always regret that because I thought of you often!! Your friendship was special to me, Ive never met anyone like you before and I know I never will because you are truly ONE OF A KIND! Knowing who you were, I know I'll see you again, either in my dreams, or in some other capacity.

My dear Estrella, how does life turn out this way?  Tomorrow is the visitation, where I will meet with you alone at first.  How will I be able to do this?  How can I accept that your physical manifestation will no longer be with me?  I must wait until the future for the blessing of being in the presence of your spirit once again.  We are thankful that we are already receiving signs and that you are still near.  May the healing begin.  I love you with all of my heart, my Christmas Star, and wish that you were still here with me.  You must have seen me lying next to you, and heard me beg you to come back.  I understand that you couldn't; your body was unable to sustain you anymore.  But I am blessed to have you as my daughter.  You are the most loving soul that walked this earth!  Thank you for all of your hard work and all the lovely things you have done for me!  Your compassion, understanding and helpfulness will always be cherished. We will take care of Junior, JoJo and Jason.  You can still influence their lives and now you can share time with Isaac, too.
