Felipa Gandara

Felipa Gandara died July 17, 2022. Shwas 91 years old. Felipa was born June 6, 1931 in Yellowstone, Montana to Ysabel and Jesse Soto. She was the 4th of 6 children. Felipa spent her childhood in Montana and then moved to Los Angeles, California to raise her family. In 2010 Felipa settled in Mesa, Arizona, and remained there until her death.

Felipa was known as the matriarch of the family, and she in large par raised her grandsons, and then her great grandchildren. When she wasn't with her family she loved to be with her little (shih tzu) Lucy, crochet, do puzzles, and thrift store shop.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Felipa was preceded in death by both parents, her siblings Tony, Socorro, John and Nach, and her daughter, Gloria. She is survived by her sister Virginia (and husband Robert) Lujan of Downey, California, grandsons Randy (and wife Sara) Elixson and Christopher Elixson of Mesa, Arizona, great grandchildren Chris and Daniel Elixson, Randee Elixson and Taelor Gonzales of Mesa, Arizona, as well as many nephews, nieces, god-children and great-great grandchildren.
