He married the love of his life, Paula June Wilson, on August 30, 1958. They raised 5 sons, plus helped take care of three girls, one was their granddaughter Stacey, a friend's daughter, Trisha Mekoleske and Jeanette Forsythe. They lived in Ohio, West Virginia, and California before settling in Arizona for the past 43 years. Dad was a mechanic his whole working career before becoming disabled on the job in 2001.
He was a simple man. He was a quiet and soft-spoken man, who always put his family first. If you could get him to talk, he was likeable and funny. He diligently read his bible, and would never hurt a fly, unless you insulted his wife then you saw the fury.
