Frank N. Sipes

Frank N. Sipes, age 85 of Sun Lakes passed away November 16, 2015 at Hospice of the Valley. Born in Beardstown, IL, son of Norman & Margene Sipes. He grew up in Bloomington, IL. He was a veteran of the USNavy (Korean War). He married Phyllis Ambrose July 2, 1954 in Bloomington. He was a 30 yr letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Bloomington. The couple moved to Arizona, and he spent 20 yrs as a Mesa Schools bus driver. His wife survives, as well as sons Stan (Lisa), James (Ellen Jo) & Gordon K. (Antonia). Also surviving are grandchildren Melissa (Chris) Miller, Katie, Tyler, Jackson, Sean, Rachel, Patty (Dan) Croft, Paul Perazella, and Greg Perazella and 5 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by parents, sister Barbara Young, brother Gordon L. Services will be held Nov. 24 at 3PM at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson, Mesa. Military service Nov. 25 at 9:300am, National Memorial Veterans Cemetery, on Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, Dobson Home, 1188 N. Dobson Rd., Chandler 85224.
