Gary Ford Bond

On Saturday March 9th 2024 in Pensacola, Florida, Gary Ford Bond passed away at the age of 73. Born on May 30th 1950, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Archie and Ruth (Trana) Bond. Gary served in the Army for 3 years, he was stationed in Germany where he made lifelong friends. The family relocated to Fargo, North Dakota, where he remained until he moved his family to Arizona in 1998.

On November 1st 1975 Gary married Karen Cossette, the love of his life and they raised two children.

Gary started a transportation company in Mesa, AZ which grew from one truck to seven trucks. Gary retired in 2016 and his children Keith Bond (Kristen) and Jessica Anderson (Christopher) took over the family business.

After Gary retired, he bought a motorhome and he traveled with his wife all over the U.S. where they created wonderful memories. On many of the trips the grandchildren traveled with us where they have fond memories. Gary was a devoted family man and found joy being around his family especially the grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his father (Archie), mother (Ruth), brothers Curtis, Jay, Paul, Joel and Mark. He is survived by his wife Karen, his two children Keith Bond (Kristen) Mesa, AZ, Jessica Anderson (Christopher) Mesa, AZ, four grandchildren Mackenzie, Kaden, Sheridan, Kennedy, his sisters Barbara Metcalf, Navarre, FL, Susan Christianson, Tulsa, OK and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Mariposa Gardens San Tan Venue. 400 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206
