George, loving son of the late Julian and Jennie Leon, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and married the late Barbara (nee Adas) on May 23rd, 1964. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage and raised their beloved family on the Southwest side of Chicago: the late David, Darin, Darrell (Frances) Leon, and grandchildren Daniel and Thomas. George was the loving brother of late Julian (late-Betty) Leon, Mary Alice Villasenor (late-Lou), Linda (Phil) Hughes and brother-in-law Larry (late-Barb) Adas. Beloved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
George was proud of his nearly 50 year career in the food industry. He was passionate about his favorite Chicago sports teams: the Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
