Glenn was born in August of 1941 in Yoakum, TX son of parents Louis and Thelma
Pargmann. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio, TX and
attended Texas A&M University in College Station. A long time resident of Texas, Glenn
moved West to Arizona in 1983 to help open Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport as a new
destination for Eastern Air Lines, for whom he worked for 26 years up to the time they
closed their hangars. Glenn also worked at FedEx for 12 years before finally retiring.
Glenn was an active member of Dayspring Methodist Church in Tempe, AZ. He loved
his family, friends, church, jobs, classic country music, working on house projects and as
anyone who knew him would know, he loved airplanes! Glenn never met a stranger.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Thelma Pargmann. He is survived
by the love of his life, his wife Ginny Pargmann of Mesa, AZ; son Robert Pargmann
(Dan Masters) of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Shana Zamarron (Ryan) of Weatherford, TX,
stepdaughter Stephanie Stralka (Joe) of Leland, IL, sister Sherrie Rose (Steve) of San
Antonio, TX, and sister Deborah Pargmann (Bob Phillips) of Rockwall, TX. Glenn had
seven grandchildren; Megan Hindle (Jacob), Milena Stralka (Dillon Hampton), Logan
Stralka, Luke Stralka, Chloe Whitehead, Ridge Zamarron, Finn Zamarron as well as four
great grandchildren; Mia Augustine, Oliver Hampton, Emmalynn Hindle, and Peyton
Hindle.
A Celebration of Life/Open House will be held on Saturday, November 13th from 2-4 pm at Dayspring Methodist Church in Tempe. The church is located at 1365 E. Elliot Road, Tempe 85284.
