

Gregory William "Greg" Aman, 72, passed away on October 10, 2025, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on October 7, 1953, in Peoria, Illinois, Greg lived a life marked by dedication to his work, deep love for his family, and a passion for all things mechanical and musical.
Greg graduated from Peoria Central High School in 1971 and went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree from Illinois Central College. His professional journey reflected his strong technical aptitude and commitment to public service. Over the years, he held positions at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Yuma Regional Medical Center, and Maricopa County Justice Court Services. He later retired as Desktop Support Manager for the Town of Gilbert in Arizona—a role that showcased his expertise with computers and his ability to support others with patience and precision.
Beyond his career, Greg was known for his vibrant personality and wide-ranging interests. He had a lifelong love of Corvettes and enjoyed attending car shows where he could admire classic models and share stories with fellow enthusiasts. Whether working under the hood of a car or behind a computer screen, Greg found joy in problem-solving and craftsmanship. He also had a creative side—he played the piano with ease, enjoyed woodworking projects, read avidly, and filled his home with the sounds of classic rock music.
Greg’s sense of humor was one of his most endearing qualities. Those who knew him remember his quick wit and ability to bring laughter into any room. He was a loyal friend and a loving husband who cherished time spent with family.
He is survived by his devoted wife Diane Aman; daughter Michele Nusz (Nathan); stepchildren Morgan Morse (Thomas) and Derek Sherwood; grandchildren Austin Aman, Katie Nusz, and Sam Nusz; two great-grandchildren; sisters Lori Pennington (Brad) and Karen Donlan (Mike); and niece Caitlyn Wendling (Jeff). Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Mary Aman.
A proud member of the Masons, Scottish Rite, and Shriners organizations, Greg valued tradition and community service throughout his life.
Greg will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those he loved so dearly.
