Gregory Louis Morey Sr.

He was born January 4, 1956 in Mount Edgecumbe, Alaska. He was the son of Harry Louis and Dolores Dorothy (Heppner) Morey.

After almost 50 years as a dedicated restaurateur, he retired to Santa Fe Trails retirement community in Mesa, Arizona with his loving wife, Susan. Together they enjoyed traveling, fine dining, cheering on the Arizona Cardinals, and spending time with family and friends.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents who were Mesa, Arizona residents. They were married for 49 years.

He is survived by: his wife of 34 years, Susan Morey, one brother, Terrence (Roberta) Bruce Morey, Price, Utah; one son: Gregory (Lauretta) Louis Morey Jr., Tonasket, Washington; three daughters: Heather Ann Foerstner, Mesa, Arizona; Adrieanne Dolores Morey, Phoenix, Arizona; and Elysia (Julio) Gabrielle Hernandez, Gilbert, Arizona.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased.

A Celebration of Life was held for him at Los Dos Molinos in Mesa, Arizona on Monday, November 8, 2021, with his cremation taking place on November 10, 2021.
