

Harold Eugene Baker, aged 90, passed away on December 21, 2024, at his home in Apache Junction, AZ. Born on August 8, 1934, in Ada Michigan, Harold's humor and warmth touched many throughout his life.
Harold proudly and honorably served in the Army from 1954 to 1978, including one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. After active service, he continued his dedication as an Army recruiter until 1978. Post-military, Harold worked as an insurance agent with New York Life until his retirement in 1998.
A devout Christian, Harold was a pillar in his community, often seen sharing coffee with friends. His life was a testament to service, both in his military career and through his charitable contributions. Harold was also an enthusiastic participant in hobbies such as fishing, woodworking, vegetable gardening, golf, and motorcycle riding. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion, and VFW.
Harold leaves behind his spouse, Christine Baker, his children: Daniel (Mare) Baker, Deb (Brian) Seeley, Lynn (Chris) Matthews, Roxanne Koenig, Jason (Angela) Boynton, Colin (Ellen) Boynton, and his former spouse, Patricia Baker. He was a proud grandfather to Trudy Timken, Jessica Walker, Dennis Baker, Cory Baker, Lucas Koenig, Kaitlyn Batts, Dylan Seeley, Lea Carroll, Jacklyn Coster, Liberty Boynton, Claire Boynton, and Evelyn Boynton. He was also blessed with 15 greatgrandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Allen Baker and Laura Honer Baker, custodial mother Blandina Schlosser, siblings Arthur, Edwin, Anna, Delores, Marguerite, Fred, and his daughter Diane Lynn Baker.
Burial services for Harold will be held at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Cave Creek, AZ. Details will be announced at a later date. Harold will be remembered as a true friend and supportive father, whose infectious humor and encouraging spirit will be dearly missed.
