James Robert Easter

Jim was born in Kankakee, Illinois on October 23,1950 to Robert and Louise Easter. He was the oldest of their three sons.

Jim grew up in St. Anne, Illinois. He graduated from St. Anne High School in 1969. He headed West in the late 1970's making his home in Chandler, Arizona. He retired from the US Postal Service there. He made numerous friends throughout his life and kept in touch with many of them. All who knew him will miss him so much!

Jim loved sports. He enjoyed watching the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Jim enjoyed skeet shooting with his good friend Roger. He loved cars and always took pride in his vehicles. He enjoyed riding in his golf cart throughout his neighborhood.

Jim is survived by his wife, Marina Ehrman, by his son Tyler Brooks of Maine, by his brothers Gary Easter (Shirley) of Mesa, AZ, Scott Walker of Canyon City, CO, and Todd Easter of Kankakee, IL. And, by many nieces and nephews as well as special family and friends Candy and Bernie Johnson.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Bob Easter and Louise Walker, by his stepdad David Walker, by his brother, Myron Easter, by his sister Robin Easter, and by his nephew Matthew Easter.

At Jim's request no services will be held. He will be buried next to his Mom in the St. Anne Cemetery in St. Anne, Illinois.
