

James Alan Keeler, 71, formerly of New Berlin, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2014, in Mesa, Arizona, during his strong and courageous fight against cancer. James was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 4, 1942, son of the late Walter and Marguerite (Curry). He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn (Glubka). Devoted and loving father of Scott, Robert (Carrie), and Michelle (Patrick McCabe). Also survived by his brothers and sisters: Terrence (Nyla), Stanley (Patricia), Randolph (Barbara), Jean Zanow, and Margaret (Daniel) Schutten. Beloved grandfather of Summer and Savannah. Further survived by a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
James worked hard for many years as a pattern maker. Upon retirement, he dedicated his life to his family. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, taking walks, playing with his granddogs, shopping, Christmas, and making his homemade fudge. Most recently he cherished spending precious time in the sunshine and warmth of Arizona, enjoying the beautiful mountain views from his new home.
A private family service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 10AM, at the Mountain Bridge Owners Club, 8730 E. Mountain Bridge, Mesa, Arizona 85207. Additional services to be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
