

Jim was born in Los Angeles, California, the 3rd of 4 children to John Charles and Patricia Ann (Kable) Mullarkey on August 23, 1954. At 6 months of age, his family moved them to Phoenix, where he was raised. Jim met the love of his life, Mary Lynn Seaman at East High School, and married on August 26, 1972. He graduated from East High School in 1973, and he later attended Gateway Community College. After high school, he worked as a machinist for several companies, then worked for Boeing as an engineering technician/ prototype mechanic for 31 years, working on projects such as the Apache helicopter, the FA/18 fighter jet, the NOTAR, and many more. He was particularly proud of his work on the Apache. Jim loved camping, fishing, yard work and gardening, military aviation and he especially enjoyed taking care of his home, and most importantly he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Lynn Mullarkey; daughter Kelly Ann Gabriel and her husband Jim; son James Patrick Mullarkey Jr.; grandson John “Jack” Gabriel; granddaughters Madeline Gabriel, Jamison Mullarkey; parents John Charles and Patricia Mullarkey; brothers Michael Mullarkey, John Mullarkey; sister Catherine Meyer and her husband Ken; and numerous nieces and nephews.
