Jason was born on February 14, 1974 in Phoenix, AZ to Lino Arcos and Gila Hernandez. From a young age, Jason had an unwavering passion for cycling and cars, with a particular love for Dodge Chargers. His enthusiasm for these machines was infectious and he would eagerly talk cars with anyone who would listen and even those who didn't. He attended Gateway Community College and received a degree in Automotive Drive Trains. Jason also had a great love for animals and often put his beloved pets’ needs above his own.
Beyond his passion for cars, pets and bikes, Jason was known for his energy, kindness, laughter, and selflessness. Jason never hesitated to drop whatever he was doing to help a friend or family member. He was very generous with more than just his time, often giving money, food, or drinks to the homeless outside Circle K or on the street corner. Jason was an organ donor and is still giving gifts of life to those in need.
He is survived by his wife Julianna, his son Gabriel and fiancé Gabriella, his father Lino, his mother Gila, his brother Neil, half siblings Edilia and Lino Jr. and numerous extended family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation for Jason will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.LakeshoreMort.com for the Arcos family.
