He is survived by the love of his life whom he was married to for 62 years, Irma Pena; his son's Joey, Oscar, and Dino Pena; his grandchildren Francine A. Pena-Patino, Jose R. Rodriguez, Carlos "Carlitos" Rodriguez, Krystle Pena, Porscher Pena, Valentino Pena, and Autumn D. Pena; and nine great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sons Carlos "Charlie" Pena and Richard "Rico" Pena.
