Joyce Ann Warner, 71, passed away February 1, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born October 26, 1949 in Columbia, South Carolina to Alvin Lammers and Dorothy Elinor [Harris] Warner. Joyce and her family moved to New Jersey in 1963 at the age of 14 where she attended Westfield High School, graduating in 1968. Following high school, she went on to Nancy Taylor Business Institute where she earned her secretarial certificate and later learned key punch and worked as a key punch operator. After some time, she left key punching to start working with the family’s confectionery business, C.C. Harris, in Cranford, New Jersey. Joyce was a simple woman who was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed making crafts. In 2001, she moved with her mother and sister’s family to Arizona. Joyce is survived by her sister, Diana (Douglas) Melahn and her niece, Stephanie Melahn. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00pm with a funeral service at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206. Entombment immediately following funeral service at Mountain View Cemetery, Mesa AZ.
