Kasey Ray Davis

Kasey Ray Davis age 24 passed away on Dec. 13, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 29, 1989 in Mesa, AZ. Kasey enjoyed camping, boating, music, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Kasey was born with a rare liver disease called Alpha-1-Antitirypsin Deficiency. On Aug. 28, 1996 Kasey received his first liver transplant at 7 years old. He was the first pediatric donor transplant recipient at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He put up a great fight to keep his new liver, but it was not his forever one.

On Dec 26, 1999, at age 9, Kasey received his second donor liver transplant at PCMC, this one was meant to be his forever liver and he never had any issues with it, it was healthy and happy with Kasey.

We want to thank the original Doctors that made it possible to have had Kasey with us as long as we have. We also want to thank family members and close friends that have always been there too comfort him and be by his side. He was a very strong and special person that endured so much over his short time here. He was a fighter and fought until the very end. We can all take comfort in knowing that he is finally no longer in any pain.

God saw he was getting tired,

A miracle was not to be.

So He put His arms around him

and whispered "Come with Me".

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,

And saw him fade away.

Although we loved him dearly,

We could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

A over worked body lay to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

RIP sweet boy..... we all know that you are now in the arms of so many angels, that were waiting for you with open arms. We all love and miss you so much. You will never be forgotten.... we can not wait until we all meet again!

Kasey Ray is survived by his Father, Scott Ray Davis, Mother, Laurie A Davis, Grandmother, Charlene K Lloyd, Brothers Christopher Ray Davis and Skyler Ray Davis. Uncle's Steven D. Kay, and Kent Ray Davis. Aunt's Juley Rae Zacherson, Lyndsay Rae Davis and Whitney Rae Davis and Shadow, his Jack Russell Terrier

We will be having a private family service on Fri Dec. 20, 2013 and will be holding a celebration of his life at his Nana's house on Sat. Dec. 20th between 2:00 and 5:00 P.M.
