Kathryn Mary Mascari

Kathryn Mary Mascari, 66, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2025. She was born on June 1, 1959, and grew up in Tempe and Phoenix, Arizona. A graduate of Alhambra High School and Arizona State University, Kathy worked as a legal assistant for more than 40 years, spending most of her career with Richard R. Schmal and later at Curtis, Goodwin, Sullivan, Udall and Schwab.

Kathy loved writing poems, walking her dog, Grace, volunteering at Grace Community Church, and spending time with her family. She especially cherished babysitting her great-nieces and nephew.

She is survived by her sister, Christina Youngberg (Michael); brothers, Sam Mascari and Michael Mascari; nieces and nephew, Kayce Bryck (Drew), Shawn Youngberg (Jacqueline), Jena Rogers (Brandon), and Katie Jo Mascari; and great-nieces and nephew, Jane, Kieran, and Lucy. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. Mascari and Jane Ressler, and her brother, Charles Mascari Jr.

Kathy’s greatest happiness was found in the love of her family, who will miss her deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202.
