Kenneth Hamilton

Kenneth Hamilton, age 75, passed away at his residence in Mesa, AZ on January 30, 2016 with his family at his side. He was born in Leslie County, KY on September 16, 1940 to parents Dan and Oma (DeHart) Hamilton. He was a beloved husband, Father and grandfather to his family.

He graduated from Monroe High School in 1959 and was a proud Veteran of the United States Marines. He retired from the Lakota school district after 27 years and was Director of Buildings and Grounds at his retirement. He was an avid sports and Nascar fan and he loved to golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Raymond Hamilton, his sister Thelma Barrett, and his nephew Danny Barrett.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 51 years Alice (Romo) Hamilton, son Kenneth David Hamilton, daughter Carla (Brett) Held, granddaughter Cecilia “CC” Held, brother Dennis (Marion) Hamilton, sisters Reva (Mike) Cook, Debbie (Rob) Phillips, and Linda Hamilton, Brother-in-law Lowell Barrett, sister-in-law Sue Hamilton, the Romo family and numerous relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held to remember Kenneth’s life on Monday, February 08, 2016 from 9:00am until 10:30am at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Rd. Mesa, AZ. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 08, 2016 at 10:30am at Lakeshore Mortuary. Followed by a Graveside Service at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd.
