LaDonna Mary, “Scotty” Walsh born Feb. 12, 1935 to John and Hazel Walsh of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was preceded in death by both parents, her beloved sister, JoAnn Althiser, her nephew Ricky Althiser and many dear pets. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, dear friends and her life partner Janice O’Dell of Mesa, AZ.
Her career in the U.S. Navy spanned 20 years and she attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. She retired at age 40 and began to camp and travel. While in the Navy she met several famous people. One of her great achievements was breakings the sound barrier-the first woman to do so in Hawaii before its statehood. She was readily willing to help family and friends. Towards the end of her life, she was under the care of Hospice at Home in whose hands she received wonderful care. She will be grieved and missed deeply.
