April 18, 1967 - July 3, 2025
Larry Gonzalez was born on April 18, 1967, in the Bronx, New York, to Elsa and Andres' Gonzalez. At the age of 18, Larry moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he pursued college studies at Arizona State University and Mesa Community College. He began his professional journey with The Millenium Group formerly known as Pitney Bowes and remained a dedicated courier throughout his career, managing internal mail and packages with care and pride.
Larry married the love of his life, Shannon Lowe, and together they had two children: Noah Andres' Gonzalez and Nadia Joi Gonzalez. He was also the proud father of Trechaun Anjale Gonzalez from a previous relationship. A devoted husband and father, Larry was a loyal friend and loving son, brother and uncle. His strength, humor, and quiet compassion touched everyone who knew him.
He had a passion for cooking and sports -- especially football --and was a die-hard Tom Brady fan. Larry also loved action films and was a lifelong Marvel enthusiast. He often called himself "The Wolverine," a fitting nickname that reflected his ability to recover quickly from life's many health challenges.
Larry found joy in life's simple pleasures - catching a good sale at Fry's grocery store, watching his favorite movies, and celebrating holidays with his family. Christmas held special meaning for him, and every year he kept the tree up past their late son's birthday in loving memory.
He was a man of prayer and faith who left a mark on others without even trying. Just look around - you'll see the lives he touched. His presence was a blessing, and his absence is deeply felt.
Larry is preceded in death by his beloved son, Noah Andres' Gonzalez. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Lowe Gonzalez; his daughters,Trechaun Anjale Gonzalez and Nadia Joi Gonzalez; his parents, Elsa and Andres' Gonzalez; and sister Elsie Gonzalez.
Larry's memory will live on through the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the faith he carried in his heart. He will be forever missed.
