

Born in Chicago, IL, January 23rd, 1938, to Margaret and Wesley Wilcox, he served in the US Navy, and then worked in the flooring industry specializing in contract sales. He married Linda (Barich) in June 1976 spending 44 years together. Camping and snowmobiling in Wisconsin with their children and fishing with friends were his favorite things to do. As the family chef, he loved to entertain family and friends. Through the years he became a fine woodworker, creating/refurbishing furniture, old sleds, and building toys and boats for loved ones. He served in two organizations - The Woodfield Area Children’s Organization (a founding member) and The Chicago Floorcovering Association.
He will continue to be loved by his wife, Linda; children, Laura (Jeff) Van Acker, Lisa Wilcox, Sheryl (Doug) Konrad, Lisa (Jim) Webb, and Don (Krista) Wilcox; and seven grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence Wilcox, and daughter, Vicki (Bob) Woods; and his siblings Lucille Leszynski, Dorothy Dendler, James Wilcox, Roy Wilcox, and Wesley Wilcox.
