Lyn A. Fry

Arlyn “Lyn” Alice Fry (née Barclay), born July 21, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, has joined her beloved husband of 52+ years, John, in spirit. She died peacefully on February 18, 2023, at home in Chandler, Arizona. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 11:00 AM, at Lakeshore Mortuary located at 1815 South Dobson Road, Mesa, Arizona 85202. If attending, please dress comfortably and brightly. Streaming on Facebook Live will also be available through the Lakeshore Mortuary page.

Lyn loved making people happy. Whether that was through laughter or acts of kindness, she truly enjoyed helping others find joy and happiness. More than anything, Lyn loved her grandchildren and was extremely proud of them all!

Lyn is survived by her daughters Julie (Jason) Magro, Stacey (Chris) McDonald, Melissa Fry, 6 grandchildren, brother Jim (Ilah) Barclay, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband John Fry, and parents Wilbur and Arlyn Barclay.

In honor of Lyn’s husband, John, the family requests that in lieu of flowers you consider donating to Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org (http://www.alz.org/)), an organization dedicated to fight this disease through the advancement of research.
