Age, 82, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012.
She was born to the late Martin and Myrtle Larson, on September 15, 1929, in Blanchard, ND. She married Loren Richards in 1950, and they lived and farmed together in Hope, ND. before relocating to Mesa, AZ in 1977.
Marian was a housewife and helpmate on the farm, and an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Hope. She loved to travel and drove between Mesa and North Dakota often in her later years.
Marian is survived by her husband Loren, seven children: Rodney (Susie) Tooele, UT; Randy (Carmen) Hope, ND; Russell (Beverly) Fargo, ND; Reginald (Linda) Erie, CO; Rochelle (Carey Flatt) West Fargo, ND; Renae (Alex Ramirez) Chandler, AZ; Royce (Laurie) Pocatello, ID; and her three sisters, Phyllis, Janice, and Sandra. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Marian is preceded in death by daughter Roxanne; granddaughter Monica; brothers Carl, Sam, and Glenn; and sister Joann.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting that donations be made to a charity in her memory.
