Martha Jean Blodgett, age 80, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away December 5, 2014. Jean was born June 8, 1934 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to George and Jewel Simmons Eddleman. Jean was devoted to her work and was the Vice President of Communications at Valley National Bank. Martha was known to everyone as Jeannie and lived in Phoenix most all of her life. Jean Graduated from Phoenix Union High School. Reading and enjoying movies was her favorite past time. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jewel and her younger sister Marion. She is survived by her two sons, Einar M. (Rayana) Blodgett and Frank S. Blodgett. She is also survived by a brother Cliff (Cherita) and sister Mary (Vic).
Arrangements made by Melcher Mortuary. No services will be held, her ashes to be scattered at a later time.
