Martha Mary "Margaret" Price

Martha Mary "Margaret" Price passed away Wednesday March 28th at Odyssey Hospice. Born December 21, 1924 in Huntington Park, California to Arthur and Elsie Smith, she is survived by her children Erika Kathleen Bartesch (Guy) and Dennis Bryan Price as well as her granddaughters Erika Kristen Lihosit, Kayla Denise Young, Amber Jo-Leigh Spear and great-grandchildren Gavin, Kloie and Shea Lihosit, Brooklynn and Caiya Spear, and Jordyn and Christian Fraser. Also brothers Walter Smith and Tom (Sandy) Harris II as well as her much loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James Kenneth "Kenny" Price, her grandson Christian Bartesch, step-father Tom Harris Sr. and sister-in-law Vega Smith.

Margaret's life was her family and friends. Over the years she kept in touch with her numerous friends from Huntington Park High, the Huntington Park, Downey and Santa Fe Springs Fire Departments and her friends in the Runabouts as well as their children The Tagalongs. Margaret was a Fire Chief's wife and was proud to be a part of their extended fire department families. Margaret grew up in Southern California and worked as an accountant for Time Finance for many years before retiring to Arizona to be with family. Although Margaret enjoyed many rich and lifelong friendships her greatest accomplishment was being a loving, involved, and supportive mother and grandmother. "Nana" will be sorely missed and leave behind many happy memories of "The Three Muskateers."

Services to be held at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel 6747 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa on Saturday April 14th at 11:30 am. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Erika Lihosits home 5424 E. Garnet in Mesa.
