Marthalene Evelyn Scott, 89, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away November 30, 2021. She was born in Empire, Missouri on July 15, 1932. Marthalene graduated high school as valedictorian and later received a degree in nursing. She married Jack Eldon Scott on October 8, 1951. Marthalene had a career in teaching and nursing in addition to raising a family of four sons. She had a passion for bible study, quilting and her family. Marthalene is survived by her sons, Walter (Sona), Jack (Shelly), James (Denise), and Michael (Matt); grandchildren, Erin Klem, Shanel Raspberry, Austin Scott, Stephanie Foertsch, Andreas Scott, Chris Scott; as well as ten great grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix.
