Mary Jo, "Jody" Stockham, 84, of Mesa, AZ., passed away November 25, 2019. She was born in Lucasville, Ohio, Oct. 30, 1935, where she grew up and was a cheerleader at Valley High School. She was the daughter of Kinney Everett and Mabel Evaline Long.
Mary Jo was a loving mother and sister who enjoyed visiting antique shops and shows all across the west coast, and loved animals, especially dogs and horses; she would frequent horse shows with her daughter, Cheryl. She works for the Tempe Police Dept. form 1974 starting as an executive secretary working her way up to administrative assistant to the Chief of Police retiring in 1995. Mary Jo is survived by her loving children, Mark Stockham, enjoying his various outdoor activities, and her daughter Cheryl Stockham; her brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Sandy Long, and her nephew, Chris Long, and niece Cindy Long.
