Mattie Vydell Costantino

Vi was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Grand and Great Grandmother, and friend to many. She was a Master Bridge player, she loved to golf, bowl and fish. Of her many cruises her favorite was the Alaskan Cruise; also visiting Alaska where she caught some BIG fish. Vi was an LPN and worked for a brief time in nursing homes and as a primary caregiver to her mother-in-law, Dorothy Costantino. She also volunteered at the Mesa Southwest Museum where she enjoyed meeting new people, especially children. She adored children.

Vi is preceded in death by both her parents: Thomas Joe Stephens and Lois Stephens Harvel, and her two sisters: Betty Joe and Irene Stephens.

She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, James D. Costantino SR, her sons James D. Costantino Jr and Robert Warren Costantino and daughter, Janette V. Shivka. She also cherished her 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Services will be held on October 21, 2023 at Sun Valley Community Church from 10:00am to 11:30am. The church is located at 456 E. Ray Rd, (West of Lindsey and Ray) in Gilbert, AZ, 85296.
