Pops was a crossword connoisseur and spent every morning with a cup of coffee and the newspaper crossword. He gained a wide breadth of knowledge over his life that he enjoyed flexing while watching Jeopardy, Cash Cab, and other trivia shows. A certified pool shark, Mike used these skills to fund his way through college. He loved nothing more than spending time with family and sharing stories with friends. Referring to himself as “Chef BoyarDay,” he took a lot of pride in his cooking and always had something special planned for family dinners and parties. His outgoing and friendly nature made everyone he met feel like a true member of the Day Family. Michael embraced his Irish heritage and attributed his gift of blarney to his Irish roots. Michael was a beloved father and G-Pops and will be missed forever. The family will host a celebration of life on October 2, 2021.
