Michael Kaspar

Michael Kaspar, formerly from Cedar Knolls, NJ, passed away early on Friday, March 4 from natural causes, at the age of 91.

Mr. Kaspar is survived by his wife, Josephine Bsales Kaspar (Mesa, AZ); 7 children, Linda Kaspar LaBarbera (Gilbert, AZ), Basil Kaspar (Chandler, AZ), Gail Kaspar Kirberger (Port Murray, NJ), Gregory Kaspar (Venice, FL), Jane Kaspar Laux (Mesa, AZ), Michael J. Kaspar (Cedar Knolls, NJ), and Christopher Kaspar (Port Charlotte, FL); 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kaspar was a parishioner at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church (Cedar Knolls, NJ) and St. Anne’s Church (Gilbert, AZ). He was a Sir Knight 4th Degree lifetime member 6904 and 10540 Knight of Columbus.

He was also a WWII Navy veteran.

Mr. Kaspar was also a member of the Chubb & Son Quarter Century Club, having spent well over 25 years working in the insurance industry.

A viewing will be held Thursday, March 10 at the Mariposa Gardens Funeral Home on the SW corner of Power Road and Broadway in Mesa, AZ from 5pm – 8pm.

A church service will be held Friday, March 11 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church on Elliott Rd, W. of Lindsay in Gilbert, AZ at 10am.

A service will be held in NJ. The date for that service will be determined within the next few weeks.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made in Mr. Kaspar’s name to either the Catholic Charities or the USO.
