

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Miguel (Mateo) Arredondo Diaz, age 84 who peacefully left us on Friday, December 6, 2024 in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.
Miguel was born in Sinaloa, Mexico to parents Manuel Arredondo and Juana Diaz on September 29, 1940. He grew up in a small town where he met his loving wife Maria M. Osorio and had six children,
He was a man with immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment that he could spend with his family He loved being outdoors and enjoyed riding his horse when he had a chance. Miguel was man that worked hard to take care of his family, a humble man that was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, a friend that you can sit with an enjoy endless conversations and stories about his childhood. He was known for not leaving his home without his cowboy hat and boots. He led by example and taught us to be resilient, be humble and the meaning of hard work. He will forever be the light that shines within us to give us the strength and faith that we need to withstand whatever comes our way,
Miguel is survived by his wife of 54 years Maria M, Osorio. His children Olga Arredondo, Maria Arredondo, Isabel Arredondo, Manuel Arredondo, Guadalupe Arredondo, Miguel Jr. Arredondo. His grandchildren Obdulio Jr. Martinez, Uriel Martinez, Vanessa Martinez, Miguel Angel Arredondo, Christina Martinez, Juanito Perez, Juan Carlos Perez, Jose Cota, Sylvester Cota, Manuel Cota, Rosa Cota, Rosita Cota, Ivan Arredondo, Tabitha Arredondo, Josue Mundo Arredondo, Janelle Mundo Arredondo, Jairo Mundo Arredondo, Kimberly Valenzuela, Aolanis Valenzuela, Cristina Arredondo, Manuelito. Arredondo, Lupita Arredondo. brothers Ramon Arredondo Diaz, Andres Arredondo Diaz and numerous great grandchildren, family, and friends.
Miguel will be laid to rest in Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona.
