Norma Renee Kalleberg

Norma was born on January 16, 1953, in Pasadena, CA. Norma moved to Connecticut where she met and married Tor Kalleberg Dec 30, 1971. Throughout her life she enjoyed reading, music, arts, and pets. Norma especially enjoyed painting and beading.

Her two children, Jack Kalleberg and Connie Phillips were both with her as she took her last breath. Her passing was peaceful, and she felt no pain. They are extremely thankful for all the support from the church and friends.

Norma is survived by her husband Tor Kalleberg. We ask that you please keep him in your prayers.

Norma was a woman who loved and cared deeply for her friends and family. Above all, she loved the Lord Jesus Christ. While we are very, very sad and shocked about this passing, we are also thankful that she is now resting with the Lord. We are also thankful for the new and perfect life that will come for her in God's new creation.

Norma faced her last days with the type of courage and hope that only comes from faith. Her prayers (and my prayers also) would be that all of her family would share in the blessings of this very same faith.

1 Peter 5:6-11

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Norma joins her Grandparents, and mother Beverly in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Greenfield Lutheran Church on November 26th at 2PM.
