Paul Edward Teixeira

We are saddened to announce the passing of Paul Teixeira. Paul passed into God's care the first week of November, but his spirit and love abide in all he left behind. Paul is survived by his wife of 49 years, Geraldine Teixeira, his baby girl Tina Marie Roth, his little angel granddaughters Jo Anngela Bratcher and Leilah Brown, his son-in-law John Roth and future son-in-law Zac Kennard. He is also survived by his baby sister Nina Heyd and her husband Bob, his brother Jean Marc Teixeira and his wife Kathy, his brother Carl Teixeira, and way too many friends to list.

Paul held 3 associate degrees in Computer Science, Auto Mechanics, and Law Enforcement. He received many commendations in his role as a New Mexico deputy sheriff. He was respected and thought highly of by his fellow deputies and he felt the same way about them, in particular his partner Frank Chavez.

He loved cooking, golf, bowling, competition shooting, dancing, singing, and everything else he ever tried. He did it all, he loved it all, and unfortunately he was best at it all and he always let us know it.

He was the light of our lives and brought us laughter at every opportunity, encouragement when we needed it, and unconditional love always. He always has had our backs. His humor was off the wall and his generosity was limitless. He was the last man on Earth without a cell phone.

We will be celebrating Paul's life on November 10, 2020 at 3:00pm at Christ's Church of the Valley in Mesa, AZ. We ask that any memorial donations be made to the Children of Fallen Police Officers Foundation. Website address is www.policeofficersfoundation.org.
