Richard Elton Sage

Richard Elton Sage (Dick) of Tempe AZ and Akron NY husband of Sallie A. Sage entered into rest peacefully Thursday, May 2, 2019 in St. Lukes Medical Center. Father of Kevin (Kathy) Sage, Scott (Dione) Sage, CJ (Laura) Sage, Michele (Dean) Schultz, and Roberta Bolm. Grandfather of Mitchell, Sarah, Emma, Simon, Eva, Addison, Benjamin, Charlotte, Lincoln, Noah, Allyson, Chana, and Jesse (Nicole). Great Grandfather to Devon, Tesla, and Juliette. Brother of James (Joanne) Sage, and Randall Sage of Newfane, NY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service was held in Mesa AZ and a service will planned for friends and family in NY.

Born in Burt NY April 10, 1943 the son of the late Elton Harold Sage and Mary Louise Woods Sage of Newfane NY. Dick was a good man, a friend, a man whose family he never took for granted and treated with love and respect. In his own words, “To all the friends we have met over the years please know that your friendship was a blessing to us. To all our family, I (we) love you very much. To all our Children, including all of those that have in-law after their name because we love you as our own, Grand-Children, and Great-Grand-Children, I was blessed to have you in my life and I am so very proud of you all”.
